This privacy policy explains how Nantou.com ("we", "us") handles information when you visit nantou.com (the "Site"). We aim to collect as little personal data as possible.
Information we collect
- Analytics data: if enabled, we may use privacy-friendly analytics to understand aggregate traffic (pages viewed, country, device type). This does not identify you personally.
- Email correspondence: if you email us, we keep your message and address so we can reply.
- We do not run a newsletter, do not sell data and do not operate user accounts.
Third-party services
The Site links out to and embeds content from third parties, principally GetYourGuide (tour booking widgets and links) and Trip.com (accommodation links). When you click one of these links or interact with an embedded widget, that provider may set cookies and process your data under its own privacy policy, over which we have no control. We also load web fonts from Google Fonts.
Affiliate tracking
Affiliate links carry a partner identifier so the provider can attribute a booking to this site. This does not tell us who you are — we receive only aggregate, anonymous reporting.
Cookies
The Site itself sets no advertising or tracking cookies. We use your browser's local storage only to remember a language preference you choose. Third-party embeds and outbound providers may set their own cookies.
Your rights
Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct or delete personal data we hold about you. Because we hold almost none, this will usually mean email correspondence. Write to [email protected] and we will act on any valid request.
Children
The Site is not directed at children under 13 and we do not knowingly collect their data.
